October 1 was national Coffee with a Cop Day, a program designed to further connect local police with the communities they serve.

To show our appreciation for the Roanoke City Police Department, Virginia Transformer sponsored Coffee with a Cop in the city of Roanoke and covered the cost of coffee for police officers and members of the community, encouraging visitors to take a moment to chat with officers and thank them for their service.
