E2X PAD-MOUNT TRANSFORMERS

STANDARD CHARACTERISTICS

Standard characteristics of E2X pad-mount Transformers are as follows:
  • 65°C average winding rise
  • Three-legged, step-lap mitered core
  • Rectangular coils
  • Aluminum Windings
  • 60 Hz standard, optional 50 Hz
  • Transformer tanks are pressure-tested to withstand 7 psig without permanent distortion and 15 psig without rupture.
  • Paint: Powder coat baked epoxy - Munsell green (other colors available)
  • Available Ratings; 750KVA – 3750 KVA
  • Available HV Voltage Ratings : 4160V - 34,500 Volts
  • LV Voltage: Up to 690 V
  • BIL /Impedance Ratings : As per IEEE Standards
  • R-line Transformers are NOT UL certified.

E2X offering includes

  • Hinged and lift-off type with 120° holding bars
  • Stainless steel door hinges
  • Steel HV/LV compartment barrier
  • Padlocking facility with one penta-head bolt on the LV compartment door and two penta-head bolts on the HV compartment door, including 3 point latching mechanism
  • HV connection: Dead front – external clamped and removable HV bushings well for load break inserts
  • LV connection: Externally clamped polymer LV bushings with NEMA 10-hole spades
  • Parking stands for HV dead front terminals
  • Nameplate per ANSI requirement
  • Pressure relief Valve
  • Oil fill plug : 1” drain valve with sampler for 750 kVA and above
  • Removable LV neutral ground strap; as required.
  • Cooling Radiators hot dipped galvanized unpainted, bolt-on type (without isolation valves)
  • NEMA tank ground pads 2-holes
