Nashville Adds Six VTC Units – For Wastewater Treatment

We recently delivered and installed six units for Metro Water’s Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nashville, TN. These four 2/2.576 MVA, 4.16/0.48 kV and two 5/7 MVA, 23.9/4.16 kV power distribution units will provide reliable, uninterrupted power for the facility’s daily operations.

The Dry Creek facility is one of three wastewater treatment plants in the area, treating an average of 186 million gallons of water per day and up to 500 million gallons of water a day during heavy rain. Nashville maintains more than 3,000 miles of sewer pipes throughout the city.
