Virginia Transformer joined Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley on August 16 for the dedication celebration of a newly completed home for the Kimbrough family. The house was built in large part by women who participated in last year’s Women Build event, which was proudly sponsored by Virginia Transformer.

Held last October, the Women Build event brought together local women of all skill levels to learn practical construction skills, build confidence using power tools, and help build a Habitat for Humanity house.

Congratulations to the Kimbrough family on their new home and to the volunteers of Women Build and Habitat for Humanity for all their hard work. Virginia Transformer is proud to support Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, and we look forward to partnering with them again soon.
