We recently delivered two transformers to the Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) Sweeny Complex in Texas. Built at our Pocatello facility and designed with a 60-year lifespan, these 60/100 MVA, 138/34.5 kV power distribution units will help provide decades of reliable power to the facility’s operations.

The Chevron Phillips Chemical Sweeny Complex has been in operation since 1944. Located 50 miles southwest of Houston, the facility is adjacent to the Phillips 66 Refinery. The Sweeny Complex is one of the world’s largest single-site ethylene facilities, capable of producing over 11 million pounds of ethylene per day.
