We recently delivered and installed a dry-type transformer for a Steel Dynamics finishing mill in Terre Haute, Indiana. This 3/3.99 MVA, 13.8/4.16 kV power distribution unit will provide reliable, uninterrupted power for the facility’s daily operations.

The Steel Dynamics mill produces various types of higher-margin, flat roll steel by further processing hot roll coils into pickle and oil, cold roll, galvanized galvalume, and painted steel products, in addition to providing a wide selection of value-added flat rolled steel products for customers’ growing needs.
