Supplying Reliable Transformers to Public Power Utility in Tennessee

We recently delivered two transformers for a Pulaski Electric System substation in Pulaski, Tennessee. These 15/25 MVA, 46/13.09 kV power distribution units will help power the local community for decades to come.

Pulaski Electric System (PES), Tennessee’s oldest municipal electric system, was established in 1891 as the Pulaski Light Company to provide electricity to residents, businesses, and churches near the public square in downtown Pulaski. Today, PES serves over 15,200 electric customers, maintains nearly 1,200 miles of power lines and over 4,000 internet and phone customers.

Virginia Transformer is proud to support public power utilities across the country by manufacturing the industry’s finest transformers designed with a 60-year lifespan. Congratulations to representative Daniel Baron from Power Service Agency who led this sale, and all those who helped design, craft, and deliver these units!
