Wind farms earn a significant income from tax credits when they meet certain start up deadlines.  VTC provided the 45/60/76 MVA, 161 kV to 34.5 kV step up, interconnect transformer in 20 weeks from order to delivery ahead of schedule for the Wolverine Creek Wind Farm.  This wind energy project is comprised of 43 @ 1.5MW turbines.  VTC also provided the installation and start up service for the transformer.  The customer connected the load to the transformer immediately.
