Senior Mechanical Engineer
This position will check and analyze the mechanical designs of transformers such as brackets, tanks, coolers etc. Candidate should be able to perform calculations pertaining to design codes and standards. The engineer will work with other experienced design engineers, production personnel and take lead in carrying out test/experiments for developmental work. Candidate must have a working knowledge of strength of materials applied mechanics, material properties (mechanical and thermal) and must have the ability to analyze problems theoretically and practically. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical engineering is required, along with 10+ years experience in product design/development. Knowledge of Material Science and electrical engineering principles is preferred.
