Quality Assurance Director
The Quality Assurance Director will be responsible for continuous improvement by discovering bad quality and lead improvements through training or process changes. They will be responsible for achieving quality goals of all areas of the operation including the professional function in the office. They will provide leadership to all workers and professional staff to build quality at their level. They will be knowledgeable in the industry’s standards and benchmark the leader. They will lead integration of new processes and equipment into the shops as the business evolves. The person will lead a staff of quality managers and inspectors of all plants and utilize the ISO system as a tool for continuous improvement. All Plants are ISO certified.
The person in this position will oversee the quality assurance activities for all plants and will report to the VP Engineering. The position will be located in Roanoke, VA, with frequent travel to other plants.
We are looking for candidates that have a stable work history with a strong work ethic to achieve goals in a high growth environment. The successful candidate will be hands on and have a technical degree with a minimum of 10 years experience in quality management in medium to heavy manufacturing environment.
