Manufacturing/Process Engineer
The position of Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the analysis and development of processes and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of the overall shop process. The successful candidate must –
- Have the ability to confer with engineering, technical and manufacturing personnel by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve engineering problems.
- Be able to read blueprints, production layouts, technical drawings
- Time and motion studies and work methods
- Exhibit proven skills in multitasking and a thorough understanding of lean manufacturing procedures.
This position will be involved in the daily operation of the shop. We are looking for candidates that have a stable work history with a strong work ethic to achieve goals in a fast paced, high growth environment. The successful candidate will have a 2 yr. or 4 yr. college degree with experience in industrial engineering techniques preferably in custom goods or capital goods manufacturing with a hands on, technical background, in a heavy manufacturing shop.
