UL Listing Announcement

Dry Type Transformers

Virginia Transformer Corp has the UL listing capability for dry type units up to 3000 kVA, 15 kV class for the primary winding manufactured at both Roanoke and Chihuahua facilities.  This includes circuit 31 configurations as well as the typical Delta-Wye units. 

Liquid Filled Transformers

Virginia Transformer Corp has the UL listing capability for liquid filled units utilizing either standard Type II mineral oil or any of the specialty fluids to include FR3, Beta Fluid, Silicone and Biotemp.  The Roanoke manufacturing facility has UL listing capabilities for product manufactured up to 60 MVA base rating ( 100 MVA top rated) and through 350 kV BIL ( 69 kV class).  This applies to both non-load tap changing and for Load tap changing units.

The Chihuahua manufacturing facility has the ability to apply the UL listing to their full product scope; up to 10 MVA base rating, 69 kV class
