ISO 9001-2000

The Roanoke facility of Virginia Transformer Corp achieved registration for ISO 9001 in February 1998.  This certification covered all facets of the design and manufacture of power transformers and associated equipment.  The facility in Chihuahua achieved ISO 9001 registration within the following year.  Subsequent changes to the ISO standard to a higher standard of ISO 9001-2000, have been implemented in all three facilities and Virginia Transformer Corp in Roanoke, Pocatello and Chihuahua have achieved certification for establishing a quality management program that is in compliance with the International Quality System Standard, ISO 9001-2000.
